Great game!

People dont know what theyre talking about. Its like Tetris meets the 3rd dimension. Reminds me of Tetrisphere (1996 Nintendo 64). Its a great game with a great soundtrack. Im super addicted. Its easy and fun. What more do you want?! Sure its not as complex as Chess but its satisfying to make blocks disappear. I highly recommend this game. Ive spend hours blasting blocks. Simple premise, and hours of fun! For $3.00 how can you go wrong?!

Boring

Its nice looking but ultimately a boring game.

Need some work

Would have been a good game if the accuracy of the block placement is better. Maybe zoomable? Also should let you preview the next block for planning purpose.

Polyform

To each their own. Found it frustratingly addictive

Pricey for an unimaginative game

30 levels, with the only difference being the time required to get 3, 2, or 1 star (s). Was hoping for more variety in each level. Not really worth the price.

Awful

Controls are awful. Makes it difficult to play. My fingers are sore from tapping spots only to have the cube move and place the block in wrong open space. Save your money!

This is NOT Critical Mass!

Hey Devs, While I see this is an official port of the PC game Critical Mass, youve changed some FUNDAMENTAL aspects of the game! 1) Its now time based as opposed to score based. 2) The block arrangements are not randomized! In the PC version, while the shape of the level is clearly pre-defined, where the different colored blocks were located changed each playing. So now instead of quickly sizing up the level and trying to figure out the best route to a huge score each play through, it is merely a matter of rote memorization as to what order the blocks come out and where to put them. The 3 levels of difficulty mean NOTHING as all 3 appear to share the same display. The controls are fine but heres hoping you add back a "Classic" mode to the game emulating the PC version.

Very Addictive

I love this game.

A clone of Nintendos Art Style Cubello

Ive only played this a little while, but I think its enough to get a feel for how the game is. This is clearly inspired by Cubello, and its better in some ways while inferior in others. Eliminating colors is a lot less frustrating; in Cubello, a color is eliminated from play only when the next piece queue and the play field are both devoid of the color, whereas in this game you merely need to clear that color from the play field. Aiming pieces is easier in Cubello because of the target reticle; I suppose the aiming is easier in this games PC version for the same reason. I also prefer the sensation in shooting blocks with my Wii Remote over this games touch controls. Although the levels in Cubello are not randomized, the piece queue, to my knowledge, is, and the fact that you cant rotate freely but have to wait for the target to rotate into view creates a different kind of challenge. I also like how different level sets have different color schemes rather than them all being the same red-orange-yellow-green-blue-purple scheme. As you play, the Cubello slowly moves toward you, and if it hits you, you lose ammo; you lose when you run completely out. The PC version of Critical Mass is similar, but you simply lose outright when this happens. In this version, the tension doesnt seem to be as present yet; you just lose when you run out of time. Plus, as pointed out in another review, the levels and piece queue have no randomization, which combined with the three difficulty modes only being stricter time limits severely hampers replay value.

It could be 5 stars

Fairly addicting and fun. However, what it really needs is an untimed, randomized, endless mode (like Bejeweleds Zen mode).

Colorblind

Please think about some options to customize color blocks. Yellow and green are indistinguishable to me leaving the game unplayable.

Good game

I really like the game but it would be nice if there was a relax mode with no time limit.. Do that and Ill raise to 5 stars

Pretty cool

A great time waster. A bit pricey, but I still had good fun with it.

Great puzzler!

Wish I could zoom in at least a little closer. Too easy to place a block in the wrong spot. I really like the match 3 aspects of this game. Really well done.

Fatally Flawed

No colorblind mode! This is pretty embarrassing in lieu of the new partnership with Nintendo, a company who and always made a point to release colorblind friendly games.

Color problems

I really like the idea of this game but cannot distinguish the green from the yellow. Please fix!

Very fun puzzle game

Addictive game with fun gameplay. I like it.

Dont Bother

Just tried Polyform on both my iPad Gen 3 and my iPhone 4. Both running the latest iOS version for the hardware. Polyform was almost completely unresponsive on each device. Not worth the effort.

Good Puzzle

Nice smooth flow, quick on process, easy to manage. It is too easy to place a piece in wrong spot, other than that, real enjoy.

Nice idea frustrating execution

Seems like a good basis for a game but it is hard to place blocks. This makes the game more frustrated then fun
